EDU-LAB took part in the Horizon Europe clustering event hosted by the University of Trento on 7 November 2025
On November 7, 2025, the EDU-LAB project participated in the hybrid clustering event for Horizon Europe projects funded under the topic “Effective education and labor market transitions of young people” (HORIZON-CL2-2024-TRANSFORMATIONS-01-10). The event was hosted by the University of Trento and organized by the NEXT-UP consortium.
EDU-LAB was represented by Dr. Alexander Chvorostov, the project coordinator. He gave the project presentation in the session dedicated to updates from sister projects. His contribution covered the background of EDU-LAB, the project objectives, the methodological approach, current progress, and initial challenges, in line with the guidelines for presentations at this event. Other members of the EDU-LAB team participated in the event online.
The agenda included a very informative keynote speech by Jacopo Staiano entitled “LLMs in practice: useful, used, abused,” followed by individual presentations by the respective sister projects. The event ended with a joint discussion on opportunities for collaboration, complementary approaches between the projects, and potential areas for future cooperation within the cluster.
Participation in the cluster meeting in Trento provided EDU-LAB with an opportunity to exchange ideas with related Horizon Europe initiatives and strengthen coordination within the broader research community working on young people's transitions to education and the labor market.
