Research Themes & Tools
Overall Concept
This research project addresses the complex interaction between educational pathways, transitions and labour market integration, with a focus on general education (GE) and vocational education and training (PVET) across ISCED levels 3-8. The aim is to model, evaluate and improve the systems, policies and individual experiences that shape these transitions. Research will focus on issues of equity, inclusion and the socio-economic factors that influence participation, progression and completion rates in education and training. By identifying barriers and facilitators, the aim is to ensure that educational pathways are more inclusive and efficient for diverse groups such as migrants, minorities and other disadvantaged populations.
The project is organised into several interconnected work packages (WPs)
